Welcome to Italy — and the beginning of eight unforgettable days combining spectacular riding with the passion and excitement of the Giro d'Italia.

After arriving in Bormio, we'll get everyone settled, assemble and check the bikes and head out together for an easy afternoon ride.

From Bormio, we'll roll down through Valdisotto towards Le Prese before turning for the gentle ride back into town.

At approximately 22 kilometres with 320 metres of climbing, today isn't about testing the legs. It's an opportunity to loosen up after travelling, make sure you're comfortable on the bike and enjoy your first kilometres in the Italian Alps.

We'll keep the pace relaxed and regroup along the way before returning to Bormio, with time to explore the old town and historic Kuerc square — or simply relax and settle into Italian life.

Tonight we'll come together, meet the riders you'll be sharing the experience with and talk through the adventure ahead.

Today we settle into the Italian Alps with our first proper climb of the tour.

Leaving Bormio, we'll make our way down the valley towards Sondalo before turning back towards Valfurva and beginning the steady climb to Santa Caterina.

The climb is approximately 13 kilometres, rising to 1,738 metres, and is the perfect opportunity to find your rhythm in the mountains without taking on one of the major Giro climbs just yet.

There's no need to chase anyone up the road. Ride at your own pace, settle into a comfortable rhythm and we'll regroup along the way.

We'll stop in Santa Caterina for coffee and take time to enjoy the surrounding Stelvio National Park scenery before making our way back towards Bormio.

At approximately 58 kilometres and 900 metres of climbing, it's a satisfying first mountain day while still leaving plenty in the legs for what's ahead.

Today's focus: Find your rhythm. Enjoy the mountains. Build confidence for the bigger climbs ahead.

Today we ride one of the most spectacular roads around Bormio — the extraordinary hairpins of Torri di Fraele and the turquoise lakes of Cancano.

Leaving Bormio, we'll gradually make our way towards the base of the climb before tackling the beautiful switchbacks that wind their way up the mountainside towards the medieval Torri di Fraele.

From the towers, we'll continue towards Laghi di Cancano at approximately 1,945 metres — a spectacular high-altitude landscape of mountains and turquoise reservoirs that also provided the setting for a memorable Giro d'Italia stage finish in 2020.

At approximately 50 kilometres with around 1,000 metres of climbing, today gives us another opportunity to build confidence in the mountains before our biggest Bormio challenge.

Ride at your own pace and enjoy the climb. We'll regroup at the top, take time for photographs and refuel before returning towards Bormio via Valdidentro and Semogo.

Back in Bormio, it's time to recover — because tomorrow we take on one of the most legendary roads in cycling.

Tomorrow: Passo dello Stelvio.

Today's focus: Build confidence. Ride the hairpins. Experience a piece of Giro history.

Today we ride one of the most legendary climbs in cycling — the Passo dello Stelvio.

Rising to 2,758 metres, the Stelvio is one of the great roads of the Giro d'Italia and a climb that sits high on almost every cyclist's bucket list.

From Bormio, we'll begin the long ascent towards the summit, climbing through the spectacular high-Alpine landscape and the famous sequence of tunnels and hairpins.

There's no race to the top. Settle into your rhythm, ride within yourself and take time to appreciate where you are. We'll regroup along the way and again at the summit for those all-important Stelvio photographs.

Standard Ride: Approximately 43 km / 1,550 m. Climb the Stelvio from Bormio, celebrate at the summit and return to Bormio.

Double Stelvio Challenge: Approximately 105 km / 3,200 m. For riders wanting an extraordinary challenge, continue over the Stelvio and descend towards Prato dello Stelvio before turning around and climbing the mountain for a second time — experiencing both legendary sides in one unforgettable day.

You don't need to decide which option you'll ride months in advance. We'll talk through the routes during the tour and you can choose the challenge that suits your legs.

Completing the Stelvio from Bormio is already an extraordinary achievement. The Double Stelvio is there for those who want more — not as an expectation for the group.

Back in Bormio, it's time to recover, refuel and celebrate one of the great days on a bike.

Today we leave the high mountains of Bormio behind and begin the next chapter of our Giro adventure — the spectacular Dolomites.

After a morning transfer to Brunico, we'll get back on the bikes and make our way through Val Badia towards La Villa, surrounded by some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in Italy.

The road gradually rises through the valley before we take on Passo Campolongo, climbing to 1,875 metres.

At approximately 58 kilometres with 1,200 metres of climbing, today is about finding a comfortable rhythm again after yesterday's Stelvio challenge. Ride at your own pace, enjoy the changing landscape and we'll regroup throughout the ride.

As we make our way through the Ladin villages of Alta Badia, the towering Dolomite peaks begin to dominate the skyline, including the unmistakable Sassongher above Corvara.

Passo Campolongo gives us our first real taste of Dolomites climbing and a perfect introduction to the roads we'll explore over the coming days.

Once back at our Alta Badia base, we'll settle in, recover and enjoy the evening together.

Today's focus: A new region. A new landscape. Welcome to the Dolomites.

Today is our biggest Dolomites ride — a spectacular journey across some of the most famous mountain passes in Italian cycling.

Leaving Alta Badia, we'll climb Passo Campolongo before descending towards Arabba and continuing through Colle Santa Lucia towards the headline climb of the day — Passo Giau.

Rising to 2,236 metres, the Giau is approximately 9.9 kilometres at around 9% and has featured repeatedly in the Giro d'Italia. It's a serious climb, but there's no need to race it. Find your rhythm, ride within yourself and take in one of the most extraordinary mountain landscapes in Europe.

We'll regroup at the summit for photographs before continuing through the Dolomites towards Passo Falzarego and Passo Valparola.

Along the way, we'll be surrounded by the Cinque Torri, the Tofane and the dramatic landscape around Lagazuoi — scenery that makes this as much an experience as it is a cycling challenge.

At approximately 92 kilometres with around 2,250 metres of climbing, today will test the legs. Our support is there throughout the day, and we'll regroup regularly so everyone can tackle the ride at their own pace.

By the time we roll back into Alta Badia, you'll have experienced three of the great passes of the Dolomites and another unforgettable piece of Giro country.

Today's focus: Pace yourself. Ride the great passes. Enjoy an extraordinary day in the Dolomites.

Our final full day on the bike brings together four of the most famous passes in the Dolomites on one extraordinary loop — the Sella Ronda.

Leaving from Alta Badia, we'll ride into the heart of the Dolomites and circle the spectacular Sella massif, taking on Passo Gardena, Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi and Passo Campolongo.

At approximately 62 kilometres with around 1,900 metres of climbing, it's a substantial final ride — but today isn't about racing from summit to summit. Ride at your own pace, settle into your rhythm and enjoy four remarkable climbs in one of Europe's great cycling landscapes.

We'll regroup throughout the day, with plenty of opportunities to stop, refuel, take photographs and simply appreciate where we're riding.

By now you've spent a week riding through some of Italy's most spectacular cycling country. Today is about bringing that experience together — four legendary passes, spectacular scenery and one final day in the mountains with the group.

When we roll back into Alta Badia, the hard work is done. Tonight we'll celebrate the kilometres, the climbs and the experiences we've shared throughout our Giro adventure.

Our final day brings our Giro d'Italia adventure to a close.

After breakfast, we'll prepare for the final stage of the Giro and one last opportunity to experience the extraordinary atmosphere that surrounds Italy's greatest bike race.

The precise location and arrangements for today will be confirmed once the official 2027 Giro route and final-stage details are released.

Over eight days, we've ridden some of Italy's most memorable roads, climbed legendary mountain passes, experienced the passion of the tifosi and shared the excitement of the Giro from both the saddle and the roadside.

Today is about enjoying those final moments together and watching the race reach its conclusion before our Bikey Tours adventure comes to an end.
