Detailed Tour Information

Overview

Ride the Divide: Pyrenees - 10 Days – 2 Countries – Endless Climbs -

Basecamps: Argelès-Gazost (France) ➜ Bagnères-de-Luchon (France/Spain border region)

This tour dives deep into the beating heart of the Pyrenees with two perfectly chosen bases: Argelès-Gazost in the Hautes-Pyrénées and Bagnères-de-Luchon in Haute-Garonne. By settling into these historic cycling towns, we unlock multiple legendary routes right from our doorstep — meaning less time packing bags, more time riding, and a true local feel.

From Argelès-Gazost, we climb into Tour de France mythology. Here lie giants like the Col du Tourmalet, Hautacam, and Luz Ardiden, all notorious for their brutal ramps and summit finishes etched into cycling history. Nearby, the Col d’Aubisque and Col du Soulor deliver that perfect blend of switchbacks and soaring views that define the western Pyrenees. Each day brings a different epic straight out of the TDF playbook.

Shifting east to Luchon, known as the “Queen of the Pyrenees,” we spend nights surrounded by passes in every direction. The Col de Peyresourde, Port de Balès, and Superbagnères climb straight out of town, while the Port d’eth Portilhon whisks us across the border into Spain’s Val d’Aran and the mighty Port de la Bonaigua

By the time we roll out of the Pyrenees, every rider will have ticked off a bucket-list chain of cols, conquered summit finishes made famous by the Tour, and experienced two towns that live and breathe cycling. This is not just a crossing — it’s an immersion into the culture, landscapes, and legends of the French and Spanish Pyrenees.
